An active lifestyle is important for maintaining physical and mental wellbeing. We all know the benefits including reducing the risk of various health conditions, reducing stress, improving mood & boosting self esteem but may find a lack of time, motivation, resources, health issues or social and environmental factors can hinder our adherence to a better us.


How do we overcome these challenges?


  1. Set Specific & achievable goals: What are you setting out to accomplish?

  2. Make healthy life style choices: Improve you sleeping habits, choose nutritious foods, incorporate daily physical activity, take time to work on mental wellbeing.

  3. Find Support & Accountability: Find those to motivate you & keep you on track along the way. Support from family, friends or a coach/ trainer.

  4. Stay motivated: Remind yourself of the benefits of your healthier choices & find ways to enjoy the process as well as the main goal.

  5. Be persistent: Taking on lifestyle change can be difficult & may have setbacks. Taking the time to make slow and sustainable changes will yield the best results
